Maison Lütt stands on the same grounds as the Royal Zollhaus in Keitum and belongs to it. A small house that waited a long time for its next chapter.
We live on Sylt. Keitum is not a holiday destination we had to discover, it is part of our everyday life. We know the quiet mornings, the wind from the mudflats and the lanes through the village in every season.
The owner of the Zollhaus entrusted Maison Lütt to us. That was not the beginning of a search for a holiday home, but the task of giving this special little house new life, calmly and carefully.
From October 2026 we are completely renovating and refurnishing Maison Lütt. The house will be bookable from 1 December 2026 – fresh and new, but with the same character. The interior images are visualisations; the finished result may differ slightly in detail.

Why Keitum
Sylt can be loud. In summer especially. Keitum never joined in. There is no promenade here, no shop windows shouting at you. Only old trees, thatched roofs, the smell of salt as soon as the wind turns, small boutiques, local workshops and good restaurants.
For us this is not a holiday backdrop, it is home. Maison Lütt belongs to this place – to the grounds of the Zollhaus, to Keitum and to Sylt.
Less, but right
We thought about it for a long time: what should this house actually be? In the end something simple came out of it: a place for someone on their own, for two, or for a small family who want to arrive and stay – a week, two, or longer if it does you good.
Maison Lütt is also the right place for a workation. Anyone who returns from a walk along the mudflats with a clear head for work will find quiet here, Wi-Fi and a table by the window.
If you drive home feeling as though you slept a few days longer than the calendar allows – then it worked.
Until then. We look forward to welcoming you.
