Terms & conditions
§ 1 Scope
These terms and conditions apply to all bookings of the holiday house Maison Lütt, Gurtstieg 52, 25980 Sylt-Keitum, Germany (hereinafter “the host”). By making a booking, the guest accepts these conditions.
§ 2 Booking and conclusion of contract
An accommodation contract is concluded once the host confirms the booking. With the booking, the guest submits a binding offer. Confirmation is given without delay.
§ 3 Rates and additional costs
All rates are per night for the entire house. The seasonal rates and current specials are shown on the booking page. In addition to the nightly rate, the following apply:
- Final cleaning: €95
- Tourist tax of the municipality of Sylt: currently €3.90 per guest per night
§ 4 Minimum stay
The minimum stay is 5 nights in high season and 3 nights in all other seasons. The workation offer requires a minimum stay of 21 nights.
§ 5 Payment terms
A deposit of 25% of the total price is due on booking. The balance is payable up to two weeks before arrival.
§ 6 Cancellation and withdrawal
The guest may cancel free of charge up to 28 days before arrival. From 27 days before arrival, 90% of the nightly rate is charged as a cancellation fee. The final cleaning is not charged in the event of cancellation. The tourist tax is waived accordingly.
We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
§ 7 Arrival and departure
Arrival is possible from 4 pm, departure by 11 am. Different times may be arranged in individual cases by agreement.
§ 8 House rules
- Maison Lütt is a non-smoking house. Smoking is permitted on the terrace.
- Pets may not be brought.
- The sleeping gallery is reached via a space-saving staircase; both sides have a handrail, the steps are 21 cm deep and 60 cm wide. Children should be confident on stairs – use is at your own risk.
§ 9 Liability
The host is responsible for the contractual provision of the house. Items brought in by the guest are subject to the statutory liability provisions. Liability for slight negligence is excluded, except in cases of injury to life, body or health or breach of essential contractual obligations.
The tenant is liable for all damages to the house, its furnishings and inventory caused by the tenant or their fellow guests. Damages must be reported to the host without delay and will be charged according to the actual cost.
§ 10 Final provisions
German law applies. Should individual provisions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. Place of jurisdiction is Sylt, insofar as legally permissible.
